Staying in a Deluxe King Room
We stayed in the entry-level Deluxe King Room #10 on the 10th floor for three nights. While the most affordable entry level option, the Deluxe King room was very spacious at 500sqft. The room includes a coffee bar area, lounge area, and work space in addition to an extremely comfortable King size bed.
While a minor complaint, I will note there is a mini-fridge for your use, but no mini-bar. After a long travel day and late night arrival, I was disappointed there was not a minibar to purchase a soda and snack from.

The restroom is separated by a semi-opaque sliding door and features double sinks, a makeup vanity area, stand up shower with body jets, and a separate water closet. Two bathrobes are provided for your use or purchase, and I have to say they were some of the comfiest hotel robes I’ve worn.

Our 10th floor room had a really nice view of the mountains in the distance. However, the hotel is located in a suburban area and surrounded by massive parking lots. We also peeked at a friend’s room on the 4th floor and their view was basically the air conditioner and roof areas.

Tulalip Casino Restaurants
Tulalip Resort & Casino features a grand total of eight different restaurants. Room service is also available, with a variety of breakfast, dinner, all-day, and children’s menu options.
Tulalip resort used to be known for an expansive buffet offering at the Tulalip Eagles Buffet, however, this was closed down during COVID and replaced with the Cedars Cafe.

Below are the dining & bar options at Tulalip Resort & Casino.
Tulalip Dining & Bars

During our stay we dined at Blackfish, which primarily offers a seafood dishes. It was extremely pricey, with entrees running around the $50 mark. I had the lobster for $65, and was quite disappointed. This may be because the last time I ate lobster was in Thailand, I was comparing it to what I had there. I just found it to be tasteless and rubbery.

That being said, the other members of my group seemed to enjoy their fish and steak dinners, and dessert was delicious. I suspect the sky high prices come from a premium for being located in the casino, rather than actual high end quality. The service was excellent, however.

Tulalip Casino
Of course the main draw of coming to the Tulalip Resort is the ability to gamble at the Tulalip Casino. Gambling is legal here due to its location on a Native American reservation belonging to the Tulalip tribe.
The Casino is surprisingly large with an almost 200,000 sqft casino floor and over 2,400 slot machines. The casino is very reminiscent of Las Vegas in both decor and size and offers an excellent rewards/cash back program.

Table games include Craps, Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, and Texas Hold ‘Em. You’ll also find regular poker tournaments, bingo games, and Draftkings Sportsbook.
Tulalip Resort Entertainment & Amenities
Tulalip features a wide array on amenities in addition to the casino. If you aren’t much of a gambler, then you may enjoy the on-site spa, indoor pool, wooded trails, Salal Marketplace boutique, 30,000 sqft of meeting space, and even an outdoor amphitheater that seats 3,000.

From comedy shows to live music, there is nearly always some sort of entertainment activity happening at the hotel’s indoor entertainment spaces, the Canoes Cabaret and the Orca Ballroom. Also adjacent the Hibulb Culture Center and nature preserve.

I stayed at Tulalip for a corporate conference, and the resort easily hosted our 300+ employees at the Orca Ballrooms. I think this hotel makes an excellent option for corporate retreats and gathering.
Final Thoughts
While the purpose for our visit was for business and that took up the majority of our time, we really enjoyed our three nights at Tulalip Resort. The price was right, the rooms comfortable and spacious, Plus, they did an excellent job hosting our corporate retreat and we would definitely recommend the hotel for a business gathering in addition to a quick getaway with a romantic partner or friend group.
